ABOUT ME
Among many other craft projects, I have knit off and on since I was a child, but never developed a strong interest until high school, when I discovered Anna Hrachovec’s delightful knitting book, Teeny Tiny Mochimochi. These adorable little projects for gnomes and chickens became my primary crafting activity, and by the time I started attending university for Engineering had I started designing my own patterns of a similar scale based on my favorite animated characters. I also expended my repertoire of creative skills outside of knitting and applied some of these skills volunteering at Repair Cafe Toronto, where I repair jewelry and clothing as part of a committed team of volunteers helping to divert waste by assisting people in fixing household items that would otherwise be unusable or go to landfill.
In more recent years I have expanded my love of creating and learning new hands on skills to a more professional capacity in the Art Department of Film and TV, and look forward to many exciting projects in the future.
